Incidentally, Granta has posted a link to a Bruce Chatwin story from their first travel writing issue (#10, Winter 1983) on their homepage.

Indie Bookstore Week: Porter Square Books

In between the bustling bookstore-heavy Harvard Square and the hipster-quirky Davis Square lies quieter, less pedestrian-friendly Porter. Though Porter Square is home to some decent eats and shops, everything’s spread out enough along Mass Ave to keep all but loyal neighbors from exploring what it has to offer.
